Missing In Kilsyth/Mooroolbark/Croydon/Montrose - A Shoe That Is?

We humans are strange creatures, some poor bloke from Kilsyth was raised in difficult times apparently where shoes were considered a privilege. This itself isn't particularly unusual but for this poor fellow it seems to have triggered a fascination with shoes and hoarding them.

He's confessed he would go out and ride his bike around and if he liked the look of them, he'd just take shoes and tuck them away at home like a squirrel. Over a thousand shoes were found in his small one bedroom property.

Mooroolbark Police are playing Prince Charming hoping to return as many shoes as possible to their owners. This Sunday 22nd MarchMooroolbark Police Station will be open to anyone who thinks they may be missing single shoes. I have a feeling there will be Cinderella types of all ages and sizes lining up along with people wanting their shoes back because we are strange fascinating creatures.

If I don't see a report on the Sunday night news with a dressed up Cinderella trying on shoes I'll be disappointed.
